电炉偏心炉底出钢,在70年代由联邦德国研究成功。目前电炉钢厂的发展趋向是大吨位超高功率加偏心炉底出钢——炉后处理系统(喷粉设备等)——连铸——连轧。偏心炉底出钢取消了传统的槽式出钢法,直接采用炉底出钢,具有缩短冶炼时间,降低电耗、节约电极、延长炉壳寿命等优点,大大降低了吨钢成本,是电炉炼钢工艺的一大改革。
