在建立社会主义市场经济体制的新形势下,高等学校的校长办公室如何发挥应有的职能?笔者联系在天津大学校长办公室工作的一些感受和体会,认为校长办公室(以下简称校办)在新形势下应具有以下六种职能:服务职能、参谋决策职能、综合协调职能、监督执行(政策)职能、指导(基层工作)职能、公关职能。 一、校办的服务职能 校办是从属于学校领导集体的综合服务机构,各项工作都具有服务性。办公室的每一个人都应当树立为领导服务、为机关各部门服务、为基层和师生员工服务的思想,主动服务,文明服务。 校办为领导服务首先是要圆满完成校领导交办的各项具体任务,但更大量的是做好校办例行的
