故宫作为中国文化史上具有独特意义的皇家宫殿,凝聚了近六百年的朝代变迁与人世沧桑。故宫题材纪录片以北京故宫为表现对象,或表现故宫的建筑,或表现其文物,或表现与其紧密相关的人与事。从1950年至今,故宫题材纪录片总共将近二十部。随着社会思潮的变化与纪录片艺术手法的探索,故宫题材纪录片在不同历史阶段中也有着不同的发展演变,大体可分为四个阶段。
The Forbidden City, as a royal palace with unique significance in the history of Chinese culture, embodies the vicissitudes of the dynasties and vicissitudes of life in the past six centuries.
