二十世纪80年代末，福寿螺作为高蛋白食品被我县从广东引入养殖，后因食味不佳、销售不畅而弃养，快速扩散到河塘、稻田等适生环境，且发生区域逐年扩大，对水稻和茭白幼苗生长造成较严重危害。2007年开始，笔者对福寿螺发生危害和部分生物学进行了初步调查，现将结果报道如下。
