小学阶段的英语阅读材料一般围绕一个话题展开,并配以精美的图片。阅读材料多为学生已有的知识。因此教师应根据学生原有的知识储备,精心设计阅读前的热身准备活动,激发学生阅读兴趣,降低或弱化阅读材料的难度,为下一步进行有效、深入的阅读做好铺垫。不同的语篇可以采用不同的准备活动,这取决于语篇的特点和学生的实际情况。总体上来说,阅读前活动主要围绕语篇的主题及难点词句展开,一方面激活学生已有的知识存储,另一方面帮助学生解决语言理解上的困难。可以从以下几方面展开:
Primary reading materials generally focus on a topic started with beautiful pictures. Most of the reading materials for students already know. Therefore, teachers should carefully design the pre-reading warm-up preparation activities according to the students ’original knowledge reserve to stimulate students’ reading interest and reduce or weaken the difficulty of reading materials so as to pave the way for effective and thorough reading in the next step. Different texts can use different preparation activities, depending on the characteristics of discourse and the actual situation of students. On the whole, pre-reading activities mainly focus on the theme of the text and difficult words and phrases to start, on the one hand to activate students’ existing knowledge storage, on the other hand to help students solve the difficulties in language comprehension.
