从高斯光束基本理论出发,分析了双光束的非交迭效应对MachZehnder极化干涉仪性能的影响,提出了改善极化干涉仪性能的途径,并在实验中得到了验证.用自制的有衬底的线栅极化器组装成的MachZehnder极化干涉仪,在波长为337μm(890GHz)的条件下,测得调制比优于19dB,插入损耗小于1dB.
Based on the basic theory of Gaussian beam, the influence of the non-overlap effect of the two beams on the performance of the Mach-Zehnder polarization interferometer is analyzed. The way to improve the performance of the polarization interferometer is proposed and verified in the experiment. Mach-Zehnder polarization interferometer with self-made substrate grid polarizer was used. The modulation ratio was better than 19dB and the insertion loss was less than 1dB at the wavelength of 337μm (890GHz).
