最近,我们到湖南省衡南、衡阳、望城三县,就农村的状况作了十五天的调查。在调查中我们十分高兴地看到,各地农村呈现一派“致富道情”的新景象,广大农村青年的精神面貌发生了巨大变化,他们那种突击队的作用,在发展商品经济中日益显示出来。为着珍惜生机盎然的青春,他们也真诚地向党、团组织和社会发出了呼唤。他们不再“跳农门”了过去,在农村青年中流传着这样的顺口溜:“农村青年两条路,不是当兵就学徒。若是两者都不成,只让青春伴泥土”这种 Recently, we went to the three counties of Hengnan, Hengyang and Wangcheng in Hunan Province for a 15-day investigation of the situation in rural areas. During the investigation, we are very pleased to see that there has been a new scene of “making love and becoming rich” in the rural areas throughout the country. The spiritual outlook of the majority of rural youth has undergone tremendous changes. The role of their commando forces has become increasingly evident in the development of the commodity economy . In order to cherish the vitality of youth, they have sincerely sent out calls to the party, the mass organization and the society. They no longer “dug in the rural areas”, passed such ringleulent among the rural youth: “If the two rural youths are not apprentices in the army, they will only let the youth be accompanied by mud.”
