Trial runs were successfully conducted with the LM-5 carrier rocket’s booster power system on June 29.The test started at 15:30 Beijing Time and lasted 3 minutes.The whole process operation of the system was stable,the engine worked properly and powered off according to the preset procedures,this test was a compete success.Each booster module of the new generation carrier rocket is 3.35m in diameter and is composed of two 120t LOX/Kerosene engines in parallel with thrust up to 240 tons.It is a sub-stage with the largest thrust in all modules of LM-5.
