In the Han Dynasty, the level of personal wealth and status were often represented by the number of livestock owned. Real life is so, the funerary objects in the tombs will also reflect this phenomenon, so that animal figurines began to prevail in tombs. However, in the many animal figurines of the Han Dynasty, unearthed pottery dogs are not only abundant but also lively and vivid. They reflect not only the image of dogs in real life, but also profound cultural connotations and glorious aesthetics.
