本文叙述一种抑制大功率周期永磁聚焦螺旋线行波管返波振荡的方案。这个方案是在每个螺旋线支持杆上各螺圈之间沉积有损的谐振曲折线。改变曲折线的长度,就能使它谐振于螺旋线线路π模频率上。这样,“谐振器就在π模频率附近提供了损耗,从而制止了返波互作用。试验结果表明:采用这种谐振损耗方案的管子,其返波起振电流至少增加四倍。
In this paper, a scheme of suppressing the back-oscillating oscillation of a traveling-wave tube with high power periodic PM focusing helix is presented. This solution is to deposit a detrimental resonant meander line between each coil on each helical thread support rod. Change the length of the meandering line, it will be able to make it resonant in the helical line π mode frequency. In this way, "the resonator provides loss near the π-mode frequency, thereby preventing the return-wave interaction, and the results show that the tube using this resonant loss scheme has at least a fourfold increase in the return-wave pick-up current.
