On the base of applied symbolic dynamics, this paper, utilizing L-Z complexity measure,forwarded a new definition of information complexity rate: cc(n). Using such definition, we obtained some relative properties to help identify periodical, random and chaotic process accurately. Applying to complexity analysis in abnormal ECG, we confirmed the reasonability of this information complexity and complexity rate approach, by means of biological experiments and computer simulations. At last, objective analysis and explanations of the mechanism of VT and VF were reported. The results indicated: with the help of complexity measure and complexity rate, we can achieve recognition of VT (Ventricular Tachycardia)and VF (Ventricular Fibrillation) up to 100%.
