第三代移动通信系统(3G)对许多移动通信技术提出了新的要求,分集技术就是其中的一种。本文分析了3G采用的正交发射分集OTD(Orthogonal Transmission Diversity)的发射部分,并根据3G系统的信号传输特点和性能要求,提出了一种可行的接收结构。与传统接收分集的比较表明,OTD不但具有减少终端复杂度等优点,而且它的性能也好于接收分集。
The third generation mobile communication system (3G) has put forward many new requirements for many mobile communication technologies. Diversity technology is one of them. This paper analyzes the transmitting part of Orthogonal Transmission Diversity (OTD) adopted by 3G and proposes a feasible receiving structure according to the signal transmission characteristics and performance requirements of 3G system. Comparison with the traditional receiver diversity shows that OTD not only has the advantages of reducing terminal complexity, but also its performance is better than the receiver diversity.
