Developed countries in Europe and America used the planting of large-scale flowers early in urban landscape design. Asian countries, in their outdoor flower arrangements, are still lacking a generous deal compared to developed countries in Europe and America. According to statistics, Japan’s per capita consumption of cut flowers is among the highest in the world, and the consumption of flowers used in the arrangement of gardens is the lowest in developed countries. The total annual amount is only 7 billion yen. With the economic growth of many countries in Asia, in addition to expanding green space, the greening of plants is also required to be richer in color. The use of large-scale, large-colored layouts will put both flowers and green. To this end, horticulturalists and gardeners should work closely together to participate in the urban landscape design of flowers.
