[新华网讯]美国向古巴出售的第一批牲畜9月21日空运到古巴首都哈瓦那。这是美国40年来首次向古巴出口牲畜。 这批美国牲畜包括水牛、奶牛、猪和绵羊,以及配种用的肉牛。它们是古巴政府为改良国内牲畜专门从美国中西部地区购买的优良种畜。这批进口牲畜还将参加9月26曰到30日在哈瓦那举行的美国食品农业展览会。届时,来自美国33个州的285家公司将参展,并寻求在古巴的贸易伙伴。
Xinhua News Agency] The first batch of livestock sold by the United States to Cuba was airlifted to Havana, the capital of Cuba, on September 21. This is the first U.S. export of livestock to Cuba in 40 years. The U.S. livestock include buffaloes, cows, pigs and sheep, and beef cattle for breeding. They are the fine breeding stock that the Cuban government purchased exclusively for the improvement of domestic livestock from the central and western United States. The imported livestock will also participate in the U.S. Food Agriculture Exhibition held in Havana from September 26 to 30. By then, 285 companies from 33 U.S. states will be exhibiting and seeking a trading partner in Cuba.
