今天,我想尝试从中国和西方现当代艺术史的角度,对刘国夫绘画的历史背景做一个梳理。一百年来的中国油画大体上可以分为两大类型,一类是徐悲鸿开创的写实性绘画体系,另一类是林风眠建立的表现性绘画体系。从林风眠、苏天赐、沈行工到刘国夫,我们可以看到中国表现性绘画演变的轨迹及其取得的成就:中国早期的表现性绘画主要是中西文化图像
Today, I would like to try to sort out the historical background of Liu Guofu’s paintings from the perspectives of the modern and contemporary Chinese and Western art history. Hundreds of years of Chinese oil painting can be divided into two major types, one is the realistic painting system initiated by Xu Beihong and the other is the performance painting system established by Lin Fengmian. From Lin Fengmian, Su Tianci, Shen Hangong to Liu Guofu, we can see the track of the evolution of Chinese expressive painting and its achievements: The early Chinese expressive paintings are mainly Chinese and Western cultural images
