西优2号是广西壮族自治区博白县农业科学研究所用自育不育系西A作母本与自育恢复系R978为父本杂交选育而成的弱感光型杂交水稻新组合,米质较优,适宜在华南稻作区作晚稻种植。2009年4月通过广西壮族自治区农作物品种审定委员会审定。
Xiyou 2 is a new combination of weak sensitized hybrid rice cultivated in Guangxi Bobai County Institute of Agricultural Sciences using self-sterile line XiA as female parent and restorer line R978 as male parent. Better, suitable for planting rice in southern China late rice. April 2009 through the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Crop Variety Approval Committee.
