“美育者,应用美学之理论于教育,以陶冶感情为目的者也。”北大校长蔡元培提出“在宗教中解放美育”的口号之前,美育作为一个概念,首次被德国剧作家、诗人席勒所使用。美育,也可以说是美术教育或者审美教育,一般理解就是教会学生对美的感知和联想。艺术教育作为美术教育最核心的途径,只有在完成艺术教育任务的基础上,才能够实现其审美教育的目标。
