Reported current type ethanol biosensors. The sensor uses toluidine blue-bonded modified dipolar graphite electrode as the base electrode, and alcohol dehydrogenase and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD +) are simultaneously immobilized on the silk fibroin membrane to become a reagentless alcohol sensor. At pH 8. 5 Tris-HCl medium, the sensor response current and ethanol concentration of 5. 0 × 10-5 ~ 1.10 × 10-3mol / L within a good linear relationship. Response time is 20s. This article discusses the various factors that affect the sensor’s response. The sensor was used to determine the content of ethanol in beer. The result was consistent with that of gas chromatography.
