湖北省五三农场以大胆创造的精神,进行了棉花不带土移栽的试验。据该场试验站三年来初步观察,证明这一方法不仅成活率高、工效高、产量高并为我省各场克服因历年春末夏初恶劣气候引起普遍死苗,连续的大面积补种甚至重播;造成农忙缺工晚播减产;和棉麦两熟中劳力紧张贻误农时、棉花减产的矛盾开辟了途径。因此我们认为进一步探索不带土移栽的技术,并适当推广,对内地一般中、小型农场的棉花生产有一定增产作用。
