南美白对虾是浙江省四大水产养殖主导品种之一，杭州市萧山区是浙江省南美白对虾淡水养殖的主要区域，养殖南美白对虾已有十多年的历史。近些年对虾病害发生率日益增加，有研究发现，养殖塘底部淤泥吸附着对虾的饲料、排泄物和对虾的尸体，对水环境有直接的影响，同时增加了对虾的发病率。
