在大公司业务多元化的合围下,独立的单一业务的公司竞争力越显不足,他们在还没有足够强大的时候就被巨头们扼杀了。2005年8月5日搜索引擎公司百度成功登陆纳斯达克,为中国互联网第二轮上市高潮划上一个大大的句号。其后长达5年的时间里,中国逐渐壮大的互联网市场中只产生了巨人、网龙、完美时空、金山等网络游戏概念股以及B2B企业阿里巴巴等少数几家上市公司。其中,除了盛大游戏、搜狐畅游以及新浪与CRIC等都是分拆上市的分蘖式发展之外,阿里巴巴是过去5年中唯一一家独立的非网络游戏概念上市公司。
In the midst of the diversification of large corporations, companies that are independent, single-player companies are less competitive and are killed by giants before they are strong enough.
