毫不奇怪,管理者所采用的概念模式和管理过程往往比其所取得的成就来得更为长久。这就使得研究者有时间在构建相关理论之前发现新的问题和提出解决办法。于是,在发展这些理论与将这些理论付诸于日常商业实践之间便产生了时间滞后。 管理概念怎么会出现这种时间上的滞后——往往有10年——这是一个令人感兴趣的谜。在经济、政治、社会、管理和技术环境发生迅速变化的年代,管理者必定会同样迅速地抛弃原有的、业经检验的分析工具吗?他们是否会意识到概念和工具随着环境的变化而失去了意义?在本文中,我建议对战略分析所使用的概念及现代企业战略发展过程这两者所需变化的实质作出辨析。
Not surprisingly, the conceptual models and management processes employed by managers tend to outperform their accomplishments. This allows researchers to find time to find new problems and propose solutions before building the theory. As a result, time lags behind the development of these theories and the application of these theories to everyday business practices. This kind of time lag in management concepts - ten years often - is an interesting mystery. In an era of rapid change in the economic, political, social, managerial, and technological environments, managers must be able to discard equally well-established, proven analytics tools as quickly as they are? Are they aware of the changing nature of concepts and tools as the environment changes Lost Meaning? In this article, I suggest that the essence of the changes needed in both the concepts used in strategic analysis and the development of a modern enterprise strategy be discerned.
