In 2004 Zhejiang Forget Farming Co., Ltd. and China National Rice Research Institute have successively bred a series of varieties such as Zhongzheyou 1, Zhongyouyou 8 and Zhongzheyou 10 which have high output and good quality. By 2013, the Zhongzheyou series has become a major rice variety in the southern rice area of the country, and is highly favored. 1 Materials and methods 1.1 Test site The experiment was carried out in Suixi Shangcun Village, Datian Town, Suichang County with a test area of 1 067m2.
