战場经验表明,航空驾驶员应该能够针对不同的目标,选择不同的引爆方式。这就需要配用可选择作用方式的火箭弹引信。因为现代化的武器品种越来越复杂,这就要求驾驶员从子母弹、箭弹、烟幕弹、照明弹和榴弹中迅速地选择所需要的弹药,对所攻击的目标能发挥最大的效力。为此美国陆军哈里·黛蒙德研究所就航空驾驶员如何选择不同的引爆方式进行了大量的研究。这种选择是通过驾驶员能与两种引信进行“通信联络”来实现的;一种是配用于子母弹,箭弹的时间引信,能装定成2至60秒;另一种是配用于榴弹上的多用途引信。
Battlefield experience shows that pilots should be able to target different targets and choose different methods of detonation. This requires the use of alternative modes of rockets fuses. Because of the increasing sophistication of modern weaponry, drivers are required to quickly select the ammunition they need from submunitions, arrow bombs, smoke bombs, flares and grenades to maximize the effectiveness of the target being attacked. To this end, the U.S. Army Harley-Dream Institute conducted extensive studies on how aviation pilots choose different ways of detonating. This option is achieved by the driver being able to “communicate” with two fuses; one is a time fuse for submunition, arrow bombs, which can be set to 2 to 60 seconds; the other is equipped with Multi-purpose fuze on grenades.
