处于教育第一线的广大小学科学教师,面临着对小学生实施以培养科学素养为中心的科学启蒙教育任务,必然存在着许多具体而实际的问题。要解决好这些问题,虽然有专家的指点、教研员的指导和学术刊物的帮助,但最终还是需要教师来进行具体操作,在实践中处理好所有教学的环节,并对教学理论进行检验和完善。所以,小学科学教师必须具备一些相应的教学技能和组织技能。
