[Nuclear Weekly, 6 June 1991, p. 15] Two weeks ago, Rene Leveique of the Canadian Atomic Energy Regulatory Commission signed a cooperation with the British Health and Safety Commission and the German Ministry of Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety respectively in London and Bonn. And information exchange agreements. The British-Israeli new agreement includes the exchange of security information on the siting, construction, commissioning, operation and decommissioning of nuclear facilities. Canada and the United Kingdom will also exchange “accident reports and reports of public and regulatory authorities’ response to the accident, especially in the event of major radiological accidents.”
