经省人民政府批准,由省教育厅和广播电视厅联合举办的四川省广播教育学校正式成立。这是一所师范性质的成人业余中等专业学校。它的主要任务是,培养我省数十万名在职小学教师,同时也兼顾其它职工、干部和社会青年自学的需要。学员经过入学考试,择优录取。结业时,通过单科或全部课程考试合格,发给证书,承认学历。目前,已有正式学员三万余名,自愿收听学员十万余名,受到我省广大教师和社会各界的好评,并在省外产生了较大影响。该校按照教育 With the approval of the Provincial People’s Government, the Sichuan Provincial Broadcasting Education School jointly organized by the Provincial Department of Education and the Radio and Television Department was formally established.
