Some of the surface catalytic reactions that follow the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism have been extensively studied due to their importance in basic theoretical research and industrial applications. CO oxidation on the Pt (III) surface is a typical surface catalytic reaction, Tail gas conversion reaction is of great significance.CO oxidation generally obeys the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism and the reaction takes place between the CO and O atoms of the chemisorption.Even at low O coverage, the surface of Pt (III) is dissociated Of the O atoms form the O island.Early studies suggest that the CO oxidation occurs preferentially around the O islands and is later corrected to be consistent across the entire O island.Research shows that the surface oxygen structure is closely related to the surface reaction.
