In the spring of 2012, with the joint efforts of the Chinese American History Research Institute and the Organization of American Historians (OAH), the American Historical Research Association of China and the United States formally established a two-way cooperation and exchange mechanism. Each year, the China American History Research Association sends three members to the United States to attend the annual meeting organized by the American historians.
