为了制定评价用基因修饰方法生产食品安全性的标准和程序,1988年组建了国际食品生物技术委员会(IFBC)。该委员会的任务是针对用基因修饰方法生产的三类食品(微生物性食品、单一化学物食品、复合食品)制定安全性评价程序,IFBC称之为判定树(decision tree)。人们可以据此对每种食品做出接受、拒绝或有待研究的判定。
In 1988, the International Commission on Food Biotechnology (IFBC) was formed to develop criteria and procedures for evaluating the safety of foods produced by genetic modification. The committee’s mission is to develop a safety assessment program for three types of foods (microbial foods, single chemical foods, and composite foods) produced by genetic modification methods, which IFBC calls the decision tree. Based on this, people can make judgments about whether to accept, reject, or study each food.
