The steelwork was treated outside the furnace with argon and industrial pure nitrogen at the Ultust Metallurgical Plant to investigate the effect on the quality of the steel. Unit and multicomponent metals are blown into inert gas smelters under laboratory and industrial conditions. The test was carried out in a 30 kg induction furnace alkaline crucible.
