垡船是一种特制的捞淤浚船。清代永定河垡船设置于乾隆三年(1738),后于乾隆二十九年(1764)第一次裁撤,乾隆三十七年(1772)复设浚船,四十七年(1782)再次裁撤。后虽屡经提出复规垡船,但因种种经费等现实问题未能实现。乾隆时期,永定河垡船作为疏浚泥沙的一种工程制度形式,断断续续存在了四十五年,对永定河水利产生了积极而深远的影响。
