Opera is called a musical drama, and its birth is the common crystallization of “literature” and “music.” The highest ideal of opera is to combine theater, music, dance and poetry into a unified organism. The integrity of the structure of music and literature is reflected in the connection between the various elements of the composition. In the opera, musicians have been trying their best to adjust the relationship between the two opera elements of “music ” and “drama ” to a state conducive to the development of the opera, so that there is a harmonious development of music and drama. Music and literature complement each other in opera, which makes the opera express the profound connotation of drama, and music makes the connotation be dissolved in beautiful notes so as to achieve the greatest artistic tension.
