水系意象的频繁使用是庞德《华夏集》的重要艺术特色。笔者拟从文化人类学的维度出发,剖析庞德《华夏集》中的水系意象群,并将他在《华夏集》里创作翻译的中国古典诗歌中的“河流”意象与本诗集里翻译自盎格鲁—撒克逊语史诗在《水手》中的“海洋”意象作对比,探讨中国河流文化和欧美海洋文化的异同。
The frequent use of water system images is an important artistic feature of Pound “Huaxia Ji”. From the perspective of cultural anthropology, the author intends to analyze the water system image group in Pound ’s “Huaxiaji” and compare the “river” image in the classical Chinese poetry he translated in “Huaxiaji” The translation compares the similarities and differences between the Chinese river culture and European and American marine culture from the image of “Ocean” in the “sailors” of the Anglo-Saxon epics.
