中印两国经济的崛起,选择的是两条不同的道路。中国逐步确立了自己作为“世界工厂”的地位,印度则向着“世界办公室”的目标迈进。这两种发展模式虽成就了中印经济过去二十多年的辉煌,但也都存在着能否持续的问题。中国的“世界工厂”发展模式,越来越受到资源与环境的约束;印度的“世界办公室”发展模式,在没有就业增长的支撑下,也难以为继。目前中印经济发展模式所遇到的难题,其根源在于超大型的国家规模。中印崛起呼唤发展中大国创新发展模式。探索中印可持续的发展道路是全球性和时代性课题。
The rise of China and India’s economies chooses two different paths. China has gradually established itself as a “world factory” and India is moving toward the goal of “world office.” Although these two modes of development have contributed to the brilliant past two decades of economic development in China and India, they all still have problems that can be sustained. China’s “world factory” development model is increasingly constrained by resources and the environment. India’s “world office” development model is unsustainable without the support of employment growth. At present, the problems encountered by the economic development model of China and India lie at the very large-scale national scale.
