Severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), one of the crucial acute abdominal diseases, has high mortality for its quick initiation, severe condition, long duration, and frequent complication with multiple organ failure. In this paper, the clinical progress in the treatment of SAP with integrative Chinese and West medicine is inspected and summarized.
