使学生拥有较高的英语综合运用能力是现代高校英语教学的极其重要的目的,为此,如何提高课堂效率就是我们高校英语教师所要思考的问题了,一堂课的效率如何,首先就看一堂课的文化导入如何了。《新编大学英语(第二版)》一个很重要的特点就是很注重文化因素,其目的就是向学生表达一些西方文化特色。在课堂上进行很好的文化导入能够使学生尽可能地了解多元的西方世界,进而提高学生的英语综合运用能力。
