Xinhua news agency， said the CPPCC decided that Zhang Chunxian will no longer serve as party secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region， the Standing Committee， members of the office， and he will have other appointments；Chen Quanguo will serve as the Party Secretary of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee， and member of the Standing Committee.
The 61 years old Chen Quanguo （born November 1955） is born in Pingyu， Henan Province. At the age of 18， he joined the PRC； 4 years later he demobilized army and became a worker.After the resumption of the college entrance examination， Chen was admitted to the economics department of Zhengzhou University， and became the first batch of graduated that major in political and economic in China.After graduation in 1981， he started his official career， and the starting point is the Pingyu Xin Dian community. Later on， he enteed into the Zhumadian prefectural office. From secretary to mayor of Luohe City， he spent 14 years there.
In November 2009， Chen Quanguo succeed transferred to Inner Mongolia and served as party secretary Hu Chunhua， then the deputy secretary of Hebei provincial Party committee， and later on he became the provincial governor there. At the age of 54， he turn into the provincial level official.Two and a half years later in August， 2011， Chen Quanguo played the role as the successor of Zhang Qingli as party secretary in Hebei Standing Committee.Served as the party secretary of Xinjiang， is actually the third time for Chen quanguo to hold a provincial positions. Thus he became the tenth party secretary of Xinjiang Province since 1949.
