学习贯彻“三个代表”重要思想核心在坚持党的先进性,党的先进性是党的生命线。新世纪新阶段,随着我国社会主义市场经济的发展和改革开放的逐步深化,党中央认真分析国际国内形势,提出了人才强国战略和党管人才原则。高等学校是培养人才的摇篮,思想政治素质决定着人才的方向,加强高校学生党员的发展和学生党员的先进性教育,是高校党建和思想政治工作的重要组成部分,必须充分认识新时期加强学生党员先进性教育的必要性和紧迫性,提高学生党员按照“三个代表”要求保持先进性的自觉性,教育学生党员掌握发挥先进性的科学方法和途径。
