套袋对皮胎果果实品质的形成有重要影响,不同套袋时间、袋种和去袋时间对果实的影响不同。套袋对果实外观品质的影响包括果实的色泽、果形果个、果面光洁度;对果实内在品质的影响包括果皮果肉组织结构、维生素C含量等。套袋影响果实的耐贮性,同时套袋可降低病虫对果实的侵害。
