初中英语教学普遍存在学生学习两极分化现象。我们都在寻求有效途径使差生赶上来。分层教学既可以避免“胡子眉毛一把抓”的一刀切现象,又可以在很大程度上缩小学生英语学习中的两极分化差距,更是体现了素质教育面向全体学生的教育方针。我把学生分为A、B、C三个层次。A层次的学生基本功扎实,学习主动.对英语学习有浓厚的兴趣。接受知识的能力强,并有超前学习的愿望和能力。B层次的学生在英语学习上有一定的进取心,
