This paper reports an improved method for the determination of isoniazid in isoniazid and sodium p-aminosalicylate tablets. Based on the reduction of hydrazine group to ammonia by zinc-copper couple in alkaline solution, it is absorbed by quantitative acid solution after distillation, the remaining acid is back-titrated with alkaline solution, and the content of isoniazid is calculated from the amount of ammonia.
