It is my great honor to be invited to attend this “International Forum of Masters and Classics: Inheritance and International Communication of Cultural Heritage”. It is of extraordinary significance that we hold this forum at the foot of the Western Hills in Beijing. 260 years ago, a Chinese literary master emigrated to Beijing’s Western Hills - the same place we meet today - to spend the last decade of his life.
