80年代初,中国科大博士生导师王仁华筹建人机语音通信实验室,开始从事语音信号处理、数字信号处理和通信的研究。1986年以后,实验室承担了中文语音合成技术等多项国家“863”计划项目,王仁华教授及其领导实验室坚持“汉语是中国人的语言,让电脑说汉语理应由中国人最先解决”的理念,10多年来一直在这个领域艰辛探索,取得了一批重要的阶段成果。1998年12月在新加坡举行的首届国际汉语口语处理研
In the early 1980s, Wang Renhua, a tutor of doctoral students at China Science and Technology University, set up a human-computer voice communication laboratory and began to study speech signal processing, digital signal processing and communication. After 1986, the lab undertook a number of national “863” projects such as Chinese speech synthesis technology. Professor Wang Renhua and his leadership lab insisted that “Chinese is a Chinese language.
