Kazuo Ishiguro (1954-), a Japanese-British writer, was born in a military family in Nagasaki, Japan. In 1960, emigrated to England with her parents. He graduated from the University of Kent and earned a master’s degree from the University of East Anglia. After specializing in the creation of novels, become a leader in the British immigrant writers. His major works include A Pale View of Hills (1982), An Artist of Floating World (1986), The Remains of the Day (1989) The Uncon-soled (1995), When We Were Orphans (2000). After being published, Canberra was widely acclaimed in Britain and won the highest award of the year in the British Novels, the Booker Prize, becoming a modern classic literary work.
