阳春三月,万物复苏。在新世纪第一个“3.15国际消费者权益日”到来之际,由信息产业部电信管理局、中国消费者协会主办,人民邮电出版社《通信世界》杂志社承办的“电信发展进程和消费者权益保护”研讨会,在北京成功举办。信息产业部、中国消费者协会的有关领导到会并就当前电信服务中存在的主要问题、如何做好电信服务工作等主题做重要发言;北京大学、中国人民大学和北京邮电大学的相关专家以及中国电信、中国联通、中国移动、吉通、网通、铁通等电信运营公司的代表们,也纷纷就电信服务这个公众普遍关注的话题发表了各自的观点和看法。一些公司还公开做出承诺,表明在新世纪做好电信服务的信心和决心。电信事业关系到千家万户,关系到每一位消费者的切身利益。翻开我国电信发展的历史,其辉煌的成就令人倍感震撼、深受鼓舞,但当前我国电信服务工作中存在的诸多问题也不可回避、不容轻视。如何尽快改善目前电信服务中存在的问题,不断提高我国的电信服务水平,以促进我国电信事业的健康发展,每一个电信人都在关注和思考。本期特别策划将带您一同步入“电信发展进程和消费者权益保护”研讨会的主会场,去聆听每一位发言者的真知灼见,去思考当前电信服务存在的问题,去探讨提高电信服务水平的有效
