密云水库是一座以防洪、供水为主的多年调节大型水利枢纽工程,总库容43.75亿m3,是华北地区最大的水库。白河主坝是水库主要挡水建筑物之一,自1976年抗震加固以来,该坝经历了水位由高到低的变化过程,通过对抗震加固后近30 a的渗流监测资料分析,全面研究坝体、坝基和坝肩的渗流状况,结果表明坝体、坝基和坝肩防渗效果显著,大坝渗流稳定。
