According to the Aviation and Space Technology Weekly report of September 7, 2015, Bayern-Chemie of Germany developed a solid-adjustable rocket press for the MBDA “Meteor” TDR) propulsion technology. At present, the company is developing ballistic missile interception bombs based on TDR technology, and its technical concept details have begun to emerge. The feasibility study of the interceptor in the lower atmosphere and the testing of a number of key technologies have been completed. Other work related to the missile concept is still under way. According to Bayern Chemical, lower-level missile defense interceptors require more propulsion capability than TDR propulsion systems used by Meteor missiles.
