Dear editor,As certificateless public key cryptography(CLPKC)[1]is proposed,a number of certificateless public key signature(CL-PKS)schemes[2–6]have been proposed.According to various construction methods,we divide them into three types:pairing-based CL-PKS schemes,elliptic curve cryptography-based(ECC-based)pairingfree CL-PKS schemes and general pairing-free CLPKS schemes(see Appendix A in the supporting information).On account of the high cost of bilinear pairings operations,pairing-based CLPKS schemes are not good choices for resourcelimited systems.These systems cannot execute complex applications very well due to the limi-
