金银花(Lonicera Japonica Thunb)系忍冬科(Caprifolicaeae)植物,为野生蔓性藤本,多年生常绿灌木。叶为长椭园形,药初开时自色,略现紫斑,具香气,逐渐变为黄色,黄白相间,故有金银花之称,开花期5——6月,有采茎叶千之,可代茶用。叶的主成分为柔酸,含量约8%,亦含有甙;取其粉0.5公分,加水10毫升,煑沸滤过,滤液中加 Fecl_3液一滴,呈兰黑色。味具收敛性。
